Decent Work Toolbox

The Decent Work Toolbox offers inspiration, guidelines, and tools to learn and start measuring and promoting decent work in your own programmes.

Decent work is a driver of sustainable development, and not a goal that is ever fully accomplished.
Therefore, everything you find here is meant to support you to plan, implement, monitor or promote various aspects of decent work, and to develop a vision on sustainability in which decent work takes a prime spot.

This platform has been developed with the support of the Belgian Development Agency Enabel.

  • Get inspired

Offers you essential insights and understandings about decent work based on existing programmes and research funded by Enabel, and reports from international organisations, such as the International Labour Organization (ILO). You get to understand what decent work is, the current state of decent work in a selection of partner countries and sectors of Enabel, and what studies show about the capacity and possibilities of various institutes and sectors implied in decent work.

  • Get into practice

Offers a hands-on approach with a variety of instruments, guidelines, ideas and more to measure and promote decent work in enterprises and companies that are part of decent work interventions.

  • Get trained

We plan to offer you a platform where you can engage in training modules to enhance your skills of decent work practices.
